Are you reliable, organised, and ready to take on a pivotal role in a fast-paced production environment? We’re looking for a motivated Storeperson to help keep our operations running smoothly in our Freezer department. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our cold-storage workflow—managing stock, supporting production, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring frozen products are delivered on time and in top condition.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 4:00am - 12:30pm
- Flexibility to work Saturdays
Your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and plan deliveries of frozen raw materials to ensure daily production requirements are met.
- Ensure all raw materials are supplied on time, resolving or escalating any issues that may impact production.
- Check and maintain frozen product quality, including temperature, condition, MPI/RMP compliance, and correct stock rotation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, product traceability, and manage stock levels using company systems.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and support factory waste collection and compaction.
- Operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely, completing all required pre-use checks.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, food safety, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Keep the freezer, warehouse, and surrounding areas clean, safe, and compliant with all H&S and environmental procedures.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in FMCG, with solid understanding of HACCP, food safety, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail to ensure accurate stock control and smooth production flow.
- Physically fit and able to work safely and effectively in cold storage/freezer environments.
- Confident using warehouse systems, basic computer applications, and operating equipment including forklifts and reach trucks (licences required).
- Class 2 licence would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
