Based at our Wiri site in South Auckland, we are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our Day Shift operations.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will supervise a team of 40+ process operators. The ideal candidate will have prior meat processing experience and a strong understanding of managing production processes within a HACCP-regulated environment.

Key responsibilities and attributes include:

• Proven ability to lead teams to achieve production targets with minimal wastage while maintaining quality standards
• Capability to manage machinery and equipment from set-up and operation through to strip-down and cleaning, including troubleshooting technical issues
• Effective planning and management of production schedules, timeframes, and staffing requirements
• A strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to communicate targets and monitor team performance
• Computer literacy, including running yield reports, maintaining production records, and managing stock takes
• Setting and maintaining high hygiene standards, ensuring critical control points and end-of-shift cleaning meet microbiological requirements
• Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record in process improvement and problem-solving
