We are looking for reliable and motivated Storepeople to join our warehouse team in a fast-paced FMCG production environment. This advertisement covers two similar permanent roles within our operation — Dry Goods Storeperson and Freezer Storeperson — each playing a critical part in ensuring smooth production, accurate stock control, and high food safety standards.

Available Shifts:

  • Dry Goods Storeperson: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Freezer Storeperson: 4:00am - 12:30pm
  • Both shifts are Monday to Friday, but flexibility to work the weekend would be advantageous.

About the Roles

Working as part of our warehouse and logistics team, you will be responsible for managing stock, supporting production requirements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with food safety, allergen management, and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Dry Goods Storeperson

  • Pick dry store and spice requirements for the factory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to production timeframes.
  • Issue and receive all dry store goods in line with established procedures.
  • Follow all allergen management processes and food safety requirements.
  • Record incoming goods accurately using supplier batch and product numbers to ensure full traceability.
  • Conduct weekly stock takes and complete all associated documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate any stock discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Ensure the dry goods store is clean, tidy, well-organised, and maintained according to the agreed layout and standards.

Freezer Storeperson

  • Coordinate and plan the supply of frozen raw materials to meet daily production requirements.
  • Ensure all frozen raw materials are delivered on time, escalating issues that may impact production.
  • Monitor frozen product quality, including temperature control, stock rotation, condition, and MPI/RMP compliance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and full product traceability using company systems.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and support waste collection and compaction as required.
  • Operate warehouse and freezer equipment safely, completing all required pre-use checks.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, food safety, and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Keep freezer, warehouse, and surrounding areas clean, safe, and compliant with all H&S and environmental procedures.

About You:

  • Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing, with a good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and workplace health & safety.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work to time-critical deadlines.
  • Physically fit and capable of working safely in a warehouse environment.
  • Confident using warehouse systems and basic computer applications.
  • Forklift and reach truck licences are required.
  • A reliable team player with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
