We’re looking for a motivated Yardperson to join our Warehouse & Logistics team and take responsibility for the safe and efficient management of yard activities and outside storage areas.

This is a hands-on, physically active role where attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. If you have forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
• Flexible to work every second Saturday, 5.30am – 8.30am

Your key responsibilities include:

• Efficiently loading and unloading trucks with accuracy and timeliness
• Preparing empty pallets for factory use and ensuring they are in good condition
• Collecting transitional waste bins and disposing of contents appropriately
• Changing gas and chemicals as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse and yard
• Separating and removing returned, broken, or damaged pallets
• Operating machinery and equipment safely as trained and directed
• Following all health and safety procedures and wearing required PPE

The successful candidate will have:

• A valid forklift licence and experience operating forklifts
• Class 2 licence would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good hand-eye coordination, physical fitness, and the ability to stand for long periods in a cold environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Commitment to following health and safety requirements and wearing protective equipment
